The Institute actively integrates into global ocean governance and academic frontiers, and has established stable cooperative relationships with a number of world-renowned universities and research institutions, including the University of Waterloo and the University of British Columbia in Canada, the University of Sydney, the University of Technology Sydney, and the University of New South Wales in Australia, De Montfort University in the UK, Fukuoka University in Japan, and Macau University of Science and Technology. It carries out in-depth cooperation in areas such as marine investment and financing analysis, marine environmental systems engineering, marine ecological protection, integrated coastal zone management, and artificial intelligence and uncertainty.
